Bolley started selling his famous dogs in the 60’s on Riverside Drive in Augusta, Maine. He later relocated to 38 Water Street in Hallowell, Maine, in 1972. This is where he added to his menu that you order from today. He hired his right hand man Donald Pooler at the age of 16. It was his first job. Over the years Bolley taught him everything that he knew about running his restaurant. Donald bought Bolleys in 1997, and you can always expect to see Don and his wife, Kimberly running the restaurant and greeting customers daily.
